Health Promotion Hertfordshire is an information and resource service for NHS staff and other professionals working in the county with an interest in promoting the health of the population of Hertfordshire.
The service provides evidence-based literature and a resource loan service. The resources available for loan include books, videos, resource packs and anatomical models. All resources relate to national priorities included in the NHS Plan, National Service Frameworks, "Saving Lives" and local priorities within the health improvement programme.
- Resource loan facility Three weeks loan facility on books, teaching packs, anatomical models, DVDs, videos and CD Roms. Over 3,000 resources in stock.The catalogue may be viewed within each health topic on our online booking system.
- Booking system An online booking system which enables clients to pre-book resources up to a year ahead. Bookings may also be made by phone, fax, email or in person at the Information & Resource Centre.
- Leaflets A wide range of evidence based leaflets designed to complement local and national priorities. The catalogue may be viewed within each health topic on our online booking system.
- Customer Service Information & Resource Advisers available to give prompt advice and information on the availability and type of resources. Quick reference service on health promotion topics is available with referrals to other NHS services if required.
