Wednesday, 23 January 2013 09:07 |
Prior to the publication of the review the PCT had identified concerns about the quality and safety of the services as highlighted in the review and proceeded to undertake a full review and procurement exercise in line with Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process set out nationally. This has resulted in all providers having to meet the standards set out in the NHS standard contract. This includes standards in relation to qualifications and suitability to practice as a counsellor.
The contract monitoring process will monitor provision against national standards for primary care counselling. |
